Tracking Player Performance

For just over a month, the tSporst Stats Centre have been publishing the TSN Player Rankings. Collecting data from “2 Day / 2K” events from around the world, the team have monitored player results and tracked who is consistently performing well at AoS events since the launch of the current edition.

One of the main reasons for doing this was to identify the top 16 best performing players so that we could invite them to take part in a special event hosted by the tSports Network at the TSN Arena in Nottingham, UK.

The tSports Champions Events – [Update]

Following a lot of hard work, we are finally proud to announce that, on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of July, we will be holding the very first Age of Sigmar tSports Champions Event for the top 16 best performing players worldwide!

But wait… there’s more….

As well as bringing together the top perfoming players from across the global, on the weekend of the 18th and 19th of June, we will also running an event for the best performing players based right here in the UK!

Both events will be 16 player, 2000 point, 5 round Age of Sigmar tournaments using 2021 Generals Handbook rules as well as the most up to date Battlescorlls and FAQ‘s.

Timescales & Timelines – [Update]

In order to give all those potentially involved as much opportunity to as possible to make arrangements to join us, we have worked up the following timeline.

The cut off for qualification will be 6 weeks prior to each event taking place. This means that the last weekend tournaments will count towards the qualifying rankings will be 21st and 22nd of May for the Worldwide event and the 7th and 8th of May for the UK event.

The list of qualifying players will then be confirmed by the following Wednesday (25th of May and 11th of May respectivley).

If, for any reason, a qualifying players is unable to attend, their place will be offered to the next highest ranked player in turn, until all places have been filled.

Finally, list submission for the events will be 2 weeks prior to the date of the tournaments.

More information on both of these events will follow shortly and we can’t wait to start the preparations for what are sure to be some of the best competitive AoS matches ever seen.

Both events will be broadcast live on the tSports Network, so make sure to follow us on Twitter, Twitch or Youtube in order to keep up to date with the latest news!

Impact on the TSN Player Rankings

Just because qualification for the tSports 2022 Champions Events takes place in May, doesn’t mean you can take a break from grinding those matches. Events and tournaments taking place after the qualifcation dates will continue to count towards the final TSN Player Rankings for the first season of A0S 3.

Rest assured, the tSports Stats Centre will be busily gathering results and adding them to the overall standings right up until the launch of the next Generals Handbook.

So, the fight for best in faction, country, region or club will continue right to the bitter end, culminating in the first ever TSN Player Awards (more on this to come)!
