Sadly after the point changes and the removal of thermalrider cloak is, this list isnt longer valid. I decided to try to find a new list focusing on Archaon. The plaugetouched list was a team tournament list that had the purpose of winning certain mission. This is an list that hopefully will do better in single tournament play. It still aims to do what the old list did, to make Archaon impossible to kill.

Allegience Ability

Locus of change – Subtract 1 from hit rolls for attacks made with melee weapons that target friendly Tzeentch Daemon Units wholly within 12 from a Tzeentch Hero.

Artefacts, Command Traits & Abilities

 Host of Arcanum (C0ven)

Thieves of All Things Arcane: One per turn, in the first, third and fifth battle round, Auto unbind one spell. 

Command Ability Entourage of Sky-Sharks – Pick 1 friendly screamer unit wholly within 12, that unit get +1 to save and -1 rend. 

Command trait Spell hunters – After Armies been set up, D3 friendly Hosts Arcanum units that can fly can move up to 6″. 

Artefact of power The Fanged Circlet (Mortal Sorc) – Once per battle, at the start of your hero phase, you can add 1 unit of 6 screamers of Tzeentch

Mortal Sorc touches Archaon, to give him reroll saves. 

Karios has the ability to turn one dice. He will aim to turn Archaons wound roll to another six, for his Slayer of kings. 

In-Game Guide

Purpose with this list is to push with Archaon and support with the rest of the heroes. 

Archaon will automatically have-1 to hit in melee combat. 

Karios will when he has to throw Spell portal, if not he will throw gemenids. The order isnt really that complicated but as he has the ability to throw all the other casters spells and does so better then both Archaon and the sorc you will have to take in game decisions which will be priority. But he will be your main caster. 

Arcane suggestion is Archaons spell. You get to pick between three different effects. You will pick the second one, Drop your weapons and give a unit -1 to hit and -1 to wound. 

Kairos will throw his spell Treason of Tzeentch. Pick a unit, roll a dice for each model in that unit, each 6+ is a mortal wound, if one is slain give this unit -1 to hit.

Geminids gives a unit either -1 attack or -1 to hit. Depending on how much minus to hit you have on the board and how many units you need to debuff you can pick either. Normally I give -1 attack, as the unit I am focusing on already is debuffed with -1 to hit.

Balewind will be used to give the sorc another cast. 

The sorc will want to throw Demonic power on Archaon, to give him reroll wound and hit rolls. Depending on the situation this is a spell that I throw with Kairos. 

The sorc can also throw Shield of fate to give Archaon or Kairos reroll saves. You will probably use your fate dice, but if you still have four left this spell is valid. 

After spells you also have your Gift of Worship, the agendas. 

Kairos gets +1 to cast with Mass conjuration, succeed with throwing two spells. 

Archaon aims to complete Ninefold dismantlement – destroy 1 enemy unit and add +1 to hit. Overthrow Leaders – kill one hero or monster and get +1 to save. 

What you will end up with is – 3 to hit, -1 to wound, -1 attack. 

The screamers has a long move, and putting them out within 9 of the sorc and then the ability to move 16 and then charge makes these a perfect objective grabber and wizard/monster killer. They get extra dmg against wizards and/ or monsters.

Archaon reroll hits and wounds, with reroll saves. With the chance to get + 1 save, +1 attack. You will also have a higher chance of using Slayer of kings with fate dice and Kairos. 

Hope you enjoy the list, this is not a list that I have heard of, and I think it will be strong in that a lot of people have not played against it and wont know what it does. Element of surprise. I have not done a ton of play testing with it yet, and I might come to update it as I play it more and more.
