This is one of the best lists I could come up with if you’re excited about using Blood Knights. Who can resist Blood knights with Fly and Ethereal saves?

Artefacts, Command Traits & Abilities

I’d like Aura of Dark Majesty on the VLoZD, but since we’re taking Nef we’re losing that. Instead, you gain ethereal save + fly on a unit of your choice, and a 15″ -1 hit bubble! We have two extra command points. We’d like to go second, so we’ll probably need one for Inspiring Presence on the screen of Chainrasps, or stacking three command abilities when it really counts.


Nef is expensive, and squishy – keep her screened, but close enough for that -hit bubble to matter! Use the rasps, use the dogs – use the knights if you have to.
VLoZD is there as a distraction carnifex – you don’t care if it dies, its meant to take the heat off Nef and the Blood Knights.
The Vampire on flying horror is there to keep the rasps near a death save, and if you have extra CPs, +1 attack.

Other Units

Blood knights: when you absolutely, positively *must* wipe an entire battleline unit off the map in one charge.

These are shock cavalry. They do the charging. Do not let them get charged or you’re wasting their points!

In-Game Guide

Multiple layers of screens is the answer here. This is a beta-strike list, *not* and alpha-strike list. You want to survive the alpha strike, then hit back. Then you hit them back so, so hard.

If they make you go first, just move up your screen and grab objectives if you can. 

Shooting armies are going to be an issue – just try to stay out of range, and hope for a double turn.
