Im trying to build a list focusing on the idea of using the command ability available from knights of the empty throne – Unmatched Conquerors. Im gonna steal all the objectives
Trait – Fists of the Everchosen: Without Archaon in the army, EMPTY THRONE VARANGUARD units gain the HERO Keyword but don’t gain LOS and can only take “Knights of the Empty Throne” Command Traits and Artefacts (does not restrict other heroes from taking Realm artifacts).
Command Ability – Unmatched Conquerors: At end of charge phase, pick an enemy within 12″ of an EMPTY THRONE HERO} unit and controls an objective. Roll for each model, each 3+ reduce their holding power by one. Will let Vanguard steal objectives.
Command Ability- Failure is Not an Option: Once per phase, when an EMPTY THRONE VARENGUARD unit is slain, you may add a new 3 man Varanguard to board edge on a 5+.
Artefacts, Command Traits & Abilities
Wall of Cursed Iron: +1 to shield rolls (Ignore Spells Effects on 4+). – cause of kroak
Corrupted Nullstone: May Auto-unbind one spell – best of a bad bunch but straight knowing i can control a spell is very important.
Varaunguard – 300 points for 15 wounds that can fight twice, once per game is great and they are the delivery vehicle for my command ability while fighting really well.
Chaos sorcerer Lord – Amazing Spell on the Vguard and can let a unit reroll all saves. Amazing.
Maraduders – Boss in a fight and bodies. teleport + almost guaranteed charge to scare the opponent
Untamed beasts for scouting top stop Alpha strikes and early objective trades.
Furies to skink objectives and to combo with the command ability
Warshrrine for its amazing buff prayer again on varaunguard
Magic, Endless & Realm Spells
Teleport and Demonic power just buff all my units. keeping it simple cause if i go against kroak i have few pluses to cast
