Introduction

the idea behind this list is to hopefully set the army up to either lock up the enemies mobility and hold OR go balls deep and spew mortals T1

Allegience Ability

Da moon! 

i dont get as much of the benefits as a moonclan army but i do get

easier mortals

+1 to casting 

and another way to potentially put out a few mortals 

Artefacts, Command Traits & Abilities

scuttleboss:-

monstrous mount Doubles his mortal output to 2 per roll of a 6

this is to make him into a heat-seeking-spider-riding-missile

he also has a command ability to allow the spider riders to ba able to reroll charges and reroll hits for their spears(not the MW fangs unfortunately)

webspinner shaman

the webspinner chaman has the Totem to allow units within 12″ to to mortals on a 5+  doubling the average amount of mortals from a spider rider squad along with being tanky enough to not be immediately removed (be it snowball or a lightning cannon )

the scuttleboss is taken mostly because i have to for the battleline riders and hes required for the battalion

Webspinner Shaman on Arachnarok Spider(x2):-

these two are a lovely pair of beefy casters that when they are within 12″ of each other sit at a healthy +2 to cast! before the possible moon +1 and a possible arcane+1 AND the cauldron +1 making  a potential +5 for one of them and a +4 for the other

his job is to throw himself across the board and hopefully lob soul shackles at a unit to help contro l the board. or to throw a unit somewhere if needed

Other Units

Spider riders!

2 wounds a piece and considerably fast, with buffs to make them do 2 mortals a piece on EACH 5+ with the fangs and have run+shoot+(re-rollable)charge with the large unit they are a veritable glass sledgehammer with 60 fang attacks and 30 rerollable spear attacks to help pick off after you annihilate withe mortals off the fangs

spider rider skittermob:-

i feel for a spiderfang-based  force this is almost mandatory as it gives all your riders+scuttleboss +2″ movement and makes the riders and boss 1 drop for 120 points as well as an extra command point+ artefact.

Magic, Endless & Realm Spells

since this is for BOB there is no realm rules in play, ill just focus on the endless spells here

arachanaskuttle cauldron

useful as it lets the caster use any of the moonclan spells which are not available for the spiderfang casters and notably let you use hand of gork even if the madcap has died earlier in the game. 

Scuttletide:-

its good to pick on enemy spellcasters hiding in terrain due to way you place the spell or to stick in front of that one large unit the enemy has that cant fly to severely hamper the units movement and damage the unit in the process
