Do you like to win? Do you hate wizards? Do you like being good in combat? Then this is the army that you hope can do all of these things. This is a list designed to get the best out of Bloodbound Khorne with a lil’ bit of Daemon help.

Allegience Ability

Blood Tithe. Check.

Anti Magic. Sort of.

Goretide. Run and Charge Command Ability for the Reavers and Blood Warriors. Re-roll 1s to Wound when wholly within 12″ of an objective – smaller boards means this is more likely to occur.

Artefacts, Command Traits & Abilities

Thronebreaker’s Torc on Bloodsecrator. No modifiers to save. Pretty good.

Amulet of Destiny on Thirster. 5+ Ward. Great for survivability.

Command Trait:

+1 damage to weapons. D-thirster getting d6+1 damage is pretty good.

Command Ability:

Wholly within 16″ – run and charge for Bloodreavers or Blood Warriors. Auto run 6″ combined. With the Bloodstoker giving +3″ to run and charge rolls and re-roll wounds. Its’s a great combination for the unit of 20 warriors

Blood Thirster. General. Boom Thirster. D-Thirster. Whatever you want to call him, he bangs. Get him forward and hope for some charges and damage. Bonus: He is the general and only monster. So you are denying a Battle Tactic.

Bloodsecrator: +1 attack for units wholly within 16″. Also a tomem, so can do CA 18″ if the champs are dead in units.

Bloodstoker: Love him. He gives a great buff wholly within 8″ – get it on the General early. Then buff whatever you like.

Slaughterpriests: Prayers. They are great. Priests are great. Think about what you need that turn. Learn how to use them because only chanting one prayer per turn means you need to be mindful of how you use them.

Other Units

Blood Warriors: I’m a thirsty boi for good models. That’s it. They are good models. They have decent attacks. Decent defence. MW output on defence. Pile-in and attack when they die, so this can be done before they are selected to pile-in or after they have piled-in. They are actually fantastic. Still working out if I run 2 x10s as opposed to the 20.

Reavers – they’re okay. They’re blood tithe. They’re beefy looking boys without armour.

Skullreapers – get inside me! They are the best. MW output. Bulk attacks. Re-roll hits against units with more than 5 models. Immune to battleshock. They’re genuinely great and fantastic models. Oh and they do MW when they die in combat.

Wrathmongers: +1 attack buff to units wholly within 8″ of any of them. They have rend which is fun. They also do MWs when they die, not just in combat either.

Magic, Endless & Realm Spells

Wrath Axe: Is better as it stays around now. Mortal Wound output. Chase your enemies and hope that you can roll 2+

Hexgorger Skulls: Anti magic. Combos well with the Bloodsecrator as enemies have to re-roll successful casts. On a natural 8. Skulls go boom. Watch your LRL friends panic.
