(The list is solid but the rundown is WIP, I’m editing and adding stuff real-time)
The wrathmongers nerf landed yesterday, which made a lot of people angry. You should know by now that you don’t want Khorne to get even angrier than his usual levels, but you went and did it anyway. You want us to be just a punchy antimagic army, well here’s a punchy antimagic army turned to 11.
This is my “Khorne Incandescent” list, but I prefer its nick better. We don’t need no stinkin cannons!
Artefacts, Command Traits & Abilities
Your WoK will be unbinding 2 spells on a 2+ to unbind. Any unmodified 8 deals d6 mortal wounds to your opponent. On a perfect storm, when your opponent casts within 24″ of your bloodsecrator and your skulls are placed within 12″ of their wizard:
-they have -2 to cast (-3 within 16″ from the altar)
– they reroll successful spells.
-if they succeed you can unbind with your WoK.
-Any roll of 8 they get in these 2 casting attempts will trigger the skulls and deal d6 mw to all wizards within 12.
-If you unbind with an 8 you deal d6 mw to the wizard.
Your WoK can be buffed with killing frenzy to deal out d6 MW on 5+ reroll everything against monsters or heroes. That is 7 attacks from the gore pilgrim bloodsecrator‘s 24″ buff. Statistically that means 4-5d6 MW.
You can then pile in and repeat with one CP due to Reapers of Vengeance.
Your Furythirster can give you a 6 inch pile in for bigger reach.
A WoK with killing frenzy that will attack a hero or monster twice will deal about 26-37 mortal wounds before regular damage.
Your 10 skullreapers can be buffed by the warshrine on a 3+ rerollable prayer to fish for 6s, rerolling 1s,2s. Buffed by the bloodsecrator, that is 50 attacks which will give you 11 MW before normal attacks against enemies that have less than 5+ models. The chaos warshrine needs not have units wholly within it to give the prayer, but it is rerolled by the skull altar.
