This year has been a bumper season for Age of Sigmar, with more countries, events, and players participating than ever before. We even had the opportunity to include events from a broader range of platforms this time around.

This year has seen a steady increase in the number of people participating in events, with a total of 842 extra over the previous year. The reduction in the number of players in April while looking very strange is due to the placement of easter and how that effect when events occur.

Almost every month we have seen more event than the previous year. A total of 61 additional events were run for AOS in the 24-25 season.

This season saw an increase in the number of events, but they generally shifted from larger tournaments with 50 or more players to smaller, more modest gatherings. Even so, there were still 12 events that attracted over 100 players, with 7 of those taking place in North America.

An interesting graph to compare the size different countries AOS communities. Although Norway and Sweden have relatively small populations, they boast a surprisingly high number of events and players, suggesting that these Scandinavian countries may have the largest Age of Sigmar communities per capita of any country.

This year, new platforms like Milarki and Tabletop have emerged as event management sites, leading to fewer events being run on BCP. Nevertheless, BCP still dominates overall, hosting around 70% of all events. However, outside of North America, its share has dropped to just over 50%.

We end the 24.25 season with Idoneth Deepkin and Sons of Behemat at the top of the overall win rate rankings with Seraphon in a close third. At the other end of the table Gloomspite Gitz and Fyreslayers have struggled in recent weeks.

Idoneth Deepkin and Sons of Behemat are all so at the top of the PWRP rankings, with three or more wins at an event. Daughters of Khaine while not having the best PWRP rating of 42% they actually outclass other comparable factions when it comes to looking at 4+ wins, this is possibly due to a few high skilled players doing well with them at events.

Out of the 10,000 games played during the most recent Battlescroll period, Stormcast Eternals were the most popular faction, logging 1144 games. Beasts of Chaos and Bonesplitterz were the least represented factions this season.

Here we can see the increase in Nighthaunt games played in more detail with a huge 188% increase in games played over the previous Battlescroll, while Flesh Eater Courts had a reduction in 44%.

Here we can see the change in win rate over the past six months for each faction. This is obviously affected by the number of players and events in each month. I particularly like comparing the slow steady increase for Seraphon to the roller coaster that is Hedonites of Slaanesh.

Despite the Idoneth Deepkin and Sons of Behemat being the most successful factions at the moment we aren’t seeing a significant uptake in their meta representation. Gloomspite Gitz have seen an increase for the past four almost doubling there meta representation over the period.

In North America one of the biggest changed is we can see that while Idoneth Deepkin and Sons of Behemat are still over the 55% bracket they are not the highest.

The Hedonites of Slaanesh players in Europe are not fairing as well as those in North America with a massive 27% difference in their win rates, while the opposite is true for Lumineth Realm Lords.

In the UK & Ireland Stormcast Eternals seem to be struggling compared to elsewhere.

In Australia and the rest of the world Nighthaunt still remain on top.
